A collection of live recordings. (2008-2010)

Two years after the appearance of The Great Divide (Minimum/Differ-Ant), PERIO return with Chunk Of Songs (A Collection Of Live Recordings), featuring the best of their most recent studio release as well as highlights from two previous records: Icy Morning In Paris (1994) and Medium Crash (1999), both on Lithium Records. With the help of outstanding musicians Stephane Milochevitch (Thousand, Thousand & Bramier, H-Burns) on drums and lap steel guitar, and Olivier Taraud (who has collaborated with African superstar Tiken Jah Fakoly) on bass and electric guitars, Eric Deleporte (a.k.a. PERIO), acoustic guitar in hand, continues to enhance his personal musical universe through his Folk Wave style. Songs of sorrow and protest are carried by a soaring vocal style reminiscent of Neil Young. The whole album vibrates with a rare tension and offers the first opportunity to discover the band live.
